Thursday nite, I cooked dinner for the house. 🙂 It was a big thing for me because those that know me, know that my definition of cooking is microwaving and boiling water. LOL
I cooked egg noodles with some of those pre-cooked roasted chicken pieces and stewed tomatoes. It turned out ok, but the only thing it was actually lacking was tomato sauce. I thought the sauce from the stewed tomatoes would have been enough…smh. But the most important thing is that I’m learning how to cook… Just call me B. Garvin! (or maybe not..lol)
I’ve been researching local gyms and I can definitely can say that it is alot harder than I originally thought it would be. Most gyms charge anywhere from $50-$100 dollars per month. Alot of websites for Gyms are so vague that they make you wonder what they are actually trying to sell you. I was watching The Biggest Loser and I was trying to find one of those 24-Hour Fitness spots. I think the closest one to me is in FLORIDA…go figure.
When I first started doing preliminary research for gyms about a year or two ago, I went straight to the YMCA that is conveniently located between my job and campus. They charge $28 per month with proof that you are a full time college student. I went to the gym to go sign up for the free preliminary fitness counseling session with a personal trainer and they took my number on two occasions and they never ended up calling. Maybe I’ll give the Y another try when I start or maybe I’ll just go to another one..eh, who knows.

I would give the Y another chance. You know the staff was probably on that ISH that week. LOL
Just kidding. Hey, $28 is better than $50 and up. You’re a college student. Watch your funds. Wow, I sound like a mommy now. 🙂
I was considering doing that. I might just end up going to a different one.
