Don’t Tell Me It’s Over.

The Fall ’09 Semester has come to a close, and I couldn’t be happier. The semester started out like all others but took a turn for the worse towards the end. With the onset of sudden issues from home, my concentration dwindled and my stress levels rose. It honestly got to the point where I stopped eating, I started waking up at 3 and 4 am, and developed a sullen attitude.

It even got to the point where I had a mini-panic attack while studying with my study group early last week.

Depression ain’t no joke.

As far as school goes, I feel that I did well in all of my classes and on the final exams. The only class I’m worried about is my Materials of Mechanics class because that final was a doozy! When I got to the final (after spending 14 hours on campus the day before studying) I thumbed through it and was relieved that the material that was covered towards the end of the semester WAS NOT on there! Even though that was the case, the exam ended before I finished the second to last problem, so I’m definitely hoping for a miracle this time ’round.

What is it with professors waiting weeks and weeks to post grades? Morgan State has a rule that states professors have to post final grades within 48 hours of exams, but its not enforced. Last semester, I didn’t get one of my grades until the week of Christmas! As much as I want to blame it on them, I can’t. Morgan State hasn’t posted the page for Fall ’09 grades yet, so even if the professors have submitted grades to the University Registrar, they haven’t appeared online.

Random Thought of the Moment: I’m sure I did well though. *crosses fingers just in case*

Congrats on finishing another semester of college. That’s kind of a big deal, homie.
Hang in there. We can all see the light at the end of your tunnel.

One step closer to the finish line. It’ll all be worth it when you get there… and what ^Coop^ said 🙂
